FIRST DAY: CHIMBORAZO HUT AND ICE PRACTICE
Departure from Quito at 9 am in a 4x4 private transportation towards the south in about 5 hours to the first shelter that is at 4,800 meters height. Then walk 200 meters to the second shelter that is at 5000 meters. Then take a box lunch, and have a chat with the guides in order to prepare equipment and technical practice. We will dinner at 6 pm and go to rest until 11 pm at night.

SECOND DAY: CHIMBORAZO SUMMIT
We wake up at 11pm to take a hot tea and make sure our equipment is ready to begin the ascent to the Whymper summit that has 6,310 m height. After 7 to 8 hours we will reach the summit and will enjoy a beautiful scenery of the Andes. Then back to the shelter will take 3 to 4 hours, collect our gear and back down to the transportation. We will be returning back to Quito around 4 to 5 pm for a good rest.
